What a 252-card portfolio is for
A deck is 60 cards, but a collection quickly grows into the hundreds. A portfolio organises cards that are not in a deck right now: rare copies, foils, sets from one expansion or trade bait. The publisher describes it as a way to make cards easy to reference, admire and trade with other players. With 9 pockets per page you see a whole row of one character or ink at a glance.
How to arrange a collection
The simplest way is by set number, which shows the gaps right away. Players more often sort by ink, as a Lorcana deck uses one or two inks. You can put your most valuable cards in a thin sleeve before the pocket, as long as it still fits. More on storing cards in our card protection guide.
Logo or artwork portfolio
In the same line Ravensburger released a second portfolio with the same capacity: the Nicholas Kole artwork portfolio. The card back one is more understated and suits a collection from any set.
