Before you play

How do I take part?

Tournaments run as private tournaments on narutomythosgame.com. You will find the link to the next tournament and the join code on this page under “Next tournament and how to join” - the code is shown to logged-in players whose shop account is linked to Discord. We also announce every tournament on the GILDIS Discord. Up to 32 players can join each tournament.

When are the tournaments and who can play?

From week 3 (7 November) every Saturday there is one Standard tournament for everyone, with no divisions and no simulator rating limit. Every other week there is Sealed, also open to everyone (usually on Thursday, on Tuesday 24 November). In the first two weeks Standard was split into Genin and Pro divisions. Exact times are in the schedule.

Do the Genin and Pro tournaments from the first weeks count?

Yes. Points from all tournaments, including the Genin and Pro divisions of the first two weeks, go into one league table. Your season rank and prize come from your place in that table.

How many tournaments count?

All of them. Every tournament you play adds points, so playing regularly pays off.

When will I see my points?

Tournament results are added to the table by the end of the day the tournament is played.

What if several players have the same points?

The order is decided, in turn, by: more tournament wins, the better best placing in a single tournament, more top 4 finishes, more top 8 finishes. If all of that is equal, the players share the place and each of them gets the prize for it. The next player’s place counts everyone above them (e.g. two players share 16th, the next one is 18th).

Who gets a prize in a tournament?

Places 1–4, when at least 6 players took part in the tournament. In a bracket tournament both semi-finalists share 3rd place; in Swiss rounds the order follows points and Buchholz, as on the tournament page. The code arrives by email, is valid for 90 days, works only on your account, and one league code can be used per order. Discord must be linked to your shop account before the tournament starts.

What if I do not show up for a match?

Anyone who did not play a single match in a tournament gets no points. Anyone knocked out because they did not show up for a match keeps the points for their place but does not get a prize code.
