Shoretroopers: guarding Imperial bases
Shoretroopers are selected for rotational duty from exceptional stormtrooper squads. They are trained for tropical operations and entrenched warfare, and the Empire assigns them to important bases such as the security facility on Scarif, where they counter Rebel ambushes.
The second unit in the box is the DF-90 Mortar Trooper. With the Detachment keyword it joins the Shoretrooper squad and supports it with mortar fire.
What to combine them with
Shoretroopers complement the Empire's core infantry, Stormtroopers and Imperial Mudtroopers. The publisher suggests them alongside the Galactic Empire Starter Set.
