Star Wars: Legion 2.0 - Tauntaun Riders
Notifications require signing in.
Star Wars: Legion - Tauntaun Riders adds two rebels riding tauntauns, the mounts of the ice planet Hoth. The set gives a Rebel Alliance army one Support unit.
What's in the Tauntaun Riders set
- 2 unpainted Tauntaun Rider miniatures, assembly required
- 2 bases
- unit card
- tokens and markers, rules sheet
Mounts instead of vehicles
Hoth's extreme climate makes some vehicles impractical. The resourceful Rebels domesticated the swift, sure-footed tauntauns and use them for scouting and riding into battle. On the table, Tauntaun Riders give the Rebel army mobile support that repositions quickly.
According to the publisher, a Rebel army can include up to three Tauntaun Rider units as Support choices, so for a full Hoth cavalry you will want several boxes.
What to combine them with
The riders pair well with the heroes on tauntauns from Captain Solo & Luke Skywalker on Tauntaun. Two Tauntaun Riders also come in the Echo Base Defenders Army Box.
