Amber and Amethyst
In Lorcana, Amber means patient, dedicated characters: leaders, healers and loyal followers working within a community. Amethyst adds magic: sorcerers, sages and animated objects that act through special powers. The pair shows how characters from very different films come together in one deck.
Ursula's Return: Sing Together
Songs have been in Lorcana since the first set: a character with the right cost can exert to sing a song instead of paying ink for it. Ursula's Return added Sing Together: several of your characters can sing such a song together if their combined cost is at least the Sing Together value.
The set has 204 main cards and 18 Enchanted. The Little Mermaid has the most cards, and Encanto made its Lorcana debut.
Who it is for
Beginners who want to play straight away and Infinity players, where every set is legal (Ursula's Return is no longer in Core). For a two-player game, pick up the Sapphire and Steel starter deck, and find more cards in Ursula's Return booster packs.
Lorcana rules in three sentences
In Lorcana you are an Illumineer summoning Disney characters from magical ink. Each turn you may put one inkable card into your inkwell and spend the ink to play cards from your hand. Characters gain lore by questing, and the game ends when someone reaches 20 lore.
