Destined Rivals: Team Rocket against heroic Trainers

In Destined Rivals, Team Rocket sets its latest plan in motion and Trainers race to stop it. You can side with the heroes, playing cards such as Cynthia's Garchomp ex, Ethan's Ho-Oh ex or Arven's Mabosstiff ex, or switch loyalties and fight with Team Rocket's Pokémon, led by Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex under Giovanni's command.

It is a big set: over 240 cards, including over 85 Trainer's Pokémon (over 45 of them Team Rocket's Pokémon), more than 15 Pokémon ex, more than 20 Trainer cards and more than 45 cards with special illustrations. The Wobbuffet promo from the ETB fits right into Team Rocket decks.

What the Destined Rivals ETB is good for

For players it is a ready base for a new deck: 45 Energy cards, 65 sleeves for a 60-card deck, damage dice and condition markers for tracking Special Conditions such as Poisoned or Burned. The set guide helps you decide whether to build a heroes deck or a Team Rocket one.

For collectors the ETB means the Team Rocket's Wobbuffet promo, which is not in booster packs, and a sturdy box with dividers for the set's cards. It is also a popular gift for Pokémon fans, combining pack opening with things that last.

Pokémon TCG in a nutshell

The Pokémon Trading Card Game is a collectible card game for two players. Each player uses a 60-card deck, puts Pokémon into play, attaches Energy and attacks the opponent's Pokémon. Destined Rivals belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series.
