The assault on Echo Base
The box recreates the Imperial side of the Battle of Hoth. Probe droids sent across the galaxy found the Rebel base, and the Empire sent troops trained and equipped for extreme cold to the ice planet, led by Darth Vader himself. Snowtrooper squads, stormtroopers and a pair of probe droids make an army that is ready for the table.
Who it is for
It is an easy way to get a whole army in one purchase instead of collecting it from single expansions. Vader collectors get a sculpt available only in this edition. If you play against the Rebellion, the natural opponent is the Echo Base Defenders Army Box.
You can grow the army with more units such as Snowtroopers or Imperial Probe Droids.
