The A Lawless Time Sleeved Booster for Star Wars: Unlimited is one pack of the game's seventh set in a cardboard hang sleeve. It holds 16 cards, including a leader, a rare or legendary and a Hyperspace foil, with a chance of a Showcase variant.
- 16 cards from A Lawless Time, in English
- a leader and a Hyperspace foil in every pack
- 264 cards in the set, including 18 leaders and 12 bases
- new in the set: Credit tokens, cards with several primary aspects and a cycle of common bases
What is in the A Lawless Time Sleeved Booster
- 1 leader - the card you build your deck around
- 1 base or token
- 1 rare or legendary
- 3 uncommons and 9 commons
- 1 Hyperspace foil
The publisher gives this distribution as approximate. The publisher states that the foil slot in this set holds a Hyperspace foil. Every card also has a regular Hyperspace version, and each of the 18 leaders has a Showcase version. A pack can hold a rare Hyperspace variant or an ultra-rare Showcase.
A Lawless Time: heists, smugglers and bounty hunters
A Lawless Time is the seventh Star Wars: Unlimited set, focused on daring heists, raids, outlaws and criminal masterminds from many eras of the saga. Its characters belong to seven teams, each planning a different heist or rescue. Close to a hundred cards carry the Underworld trait and close to forty the Bounty Hunter trait. Non-unique units cover 32 alien species, and the set has more Speeder units than any set before it.
There are eighteen leaders. Saw Gerrera is the first Command and Aggression leader, joined by Tobias Beckett, Lando Calrissian, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Enfys Nest, Jyn Erso, Hera Syndulla, Boba Fett, Sebulba, The Client, Director Krennic and Darth Vader, among others.
Legendary cards include Cad Bane, The Mandalorian, Maul, Hondo Ohnaka, L3-37, Max Rebo, Maz Kanata, Ben Solo and Anakin's Podracer. Bases include Canto Bight, Coaxium Mine, Aldhani Garrison and Shipbreaking Yard.
Three new features that change deckbuilding:
- Credit tokens - when paying for a card or an ability, defeat any number of them to lower the cost by 1 each. They do not count as resources, so they do not speed up deploying your leader.
- Multi-aspect cards - the game's first cards with two primary aspects, in a new frame. There are more than 60 of them, and some reach three aspects together with Heroism or Villainy.
- Common bases - each lets you play a card while ignoring one aspect penalty, once per game.
The set's Spotlight Decks are led by Jabba the Hutt and Leia Organa, each with four additional Special-rarity cards.
A Lawless Time and the first rotation
The first rotation in Star Wars: Unlimited began together with A Lawless Time. Cards from Spark of Rebellion, Shadows of the Galaxy and Twilight of the Republic are no longer legal in the main tournament format, and each group of sets is meant to stay there for around two years. A card from a rotated set that is reprinted in a set still legal remains in that format. Every card in the game stays legal in the Eternal format.
Who a single pack is for
A single pack lets you look into the set without buying a whole box: try Credit tokens in play, pick up a leader for your deck or hunt for a Showcase. For group play you need several packs per person. You will find every product from this set in the A Lawless Time category.
Star Wars: Unlimited at a glance
It is a two-player collectible card game from Fantasy Flight Games. Each player has a leader, a base and a deck of at least 50 cards, and the fight runs on two fronts at once: in space and on the ground. The first to destroy the opponent's base wins.
