The Witcher: Old World - Adventure Pack (Wiedźmin: Stary Świat - Zestaw przygód) is a story expansion: 200 new exploration and event cards that you shuffle into the base game decks. With them the cards you meet in cities and the wilds repeat less often, and you run into new choices, companions and items along the way. You need the Witcher: Old World base game to play.
- expansion, requires the base game (standard or deluxe)
- 200 exploration and event cards and 12 quest tokens
- 1-5 players, ages 16+, about 90-150 minutes
- Polish edition by Rebel
Who the Adventure Pack is for
For players who have played a few games and are starting to recognise the base exploration cards. The rules do not change, so there is nothing to learn: the expansion cards carry their own symbol, you shuffle them into the matching decks and put the quest tokens next to the board. It is the simplest way to refresh the game without new mechanics.
How to add the cards
Shuffle the exploration cards from the expansion into the base exploration deck. The event cards are numbered and must not be shuffled: add them to the base game event deck so the numbers run in order, because exploration cards refer to specific numbers.
What to combine it with
The Adventure Pack combines with every expansion except Wild Hunt, including Skellige, which has its own island exploration deck, and Mages.
