Gamegenic: Playmat Prime 2 mm, Green
The green Gamegenic Prime playmat echoes the cloth of a classic card table, but it is made of natural rubber: 610 x 350 mm, 2 mm thick, with an anti-slip back. No prints or artwork, just a barely visible imprinted logo in the corner.
Which games the green mat suits
Green is a faction colour in several popular games. The green Prime playmat makes a good backdrop for:
- green Magic: The Gathering decks built around creatures and mana,
- Emerald ink decks in Disney Lorcana,
- the Command aspect in Star Wars: Unlimited,
- green leaders in the One Piece Card Game.
Beyond those, it is simply a calm, classic background for any card or dice game.
What a 2 mm rubber mat gives you
Natural rubber gently cushions cards and dice, and the ultra-fine surface does not scratch sleeves. Cards slide across it smoothly and are easy to pick up. The back grips the table, so the mat does not wander during a game. The producer also points to a second use: a desk mat at home.
How to store the mat
The mat handles rolling much better than folding. Rolled along its 350 mm short side, it fits the green Gamegenic playmat tube (385 mm long, 75 mm across). Cards on the mat are best kept sleeved, and our card protection guide explains how to choose sleeves.
