Gamegenic: Playmat Tube, Blue
The blue Gamegenic tube is a semi-transparent case for a rolled-up playmat, 75 mm across and 385 mm long. The hexagonal profile stops it from rolling, and the flexible cap seals so tight that the mat does not slip out even when shaken.
A set with the blue mat
The simplest pairing is the tube with the blue Gamegenic Prime playmat: the mat is 610 x 350 mm and, rolled along its short side, fits the tube completely. A blue set suits decks in that colour, such as Sapphire ink in Lorcana or the Vigilance aspect in Star Wars: Unlimited. The tube takes any standard-sized mat though, art mats included.
What the tube protects against
A mat in a backpack is easily crushed, and creases in rubber stay. The tube walls are PETG, a shock- and scratch-resistant material, and the reinforced base withstands heavy pressure. According to the producer, the tube holds stitched and unstitched mats as well as extra-large and particularly thick ones. It also works for posters and maps.
