Mega Emboar ex and Crimson Blast

In the publisher's words, Mega Emboar ex is surrounded by flames and lets loose a Crimson Blast to devastate the opponent. Emboar is the final stage of the Unova Fire starter, so the card fits both Fire decks and starter collections.

The box is one of a trio with identical contents: alongside Mega Emboar ex there are versions with Mega Meganium ex and Mega Feraligatr ex.

What the Ascended Heroes packs bring

Ascended Heroes is a large special set: according to the publisher, over 290 cards, including over 30 Trainer cards and more than 30 cards with special illustrations. The headline card is Mega Dragonite ex. The packs also hold Trainer's Pokémon and Stellar Tera Pokémon ex from the Scarlet & Violet era, and some Mega Evolution Pokémon ex have art showing their biggest attacks.

Who the Mega Emboar ex Box is for

For players who want to add Mega Emboar ex to a Fire deck without relying on luck in packs. For collectors who follow one Pokémon or collect lenticular cards. As a gift, the box has a clear advantage: you know which card is inside, and four packs add the surprise.

Emboar or Meganium

The same format with the Johto Grass starter is the Mega Meganium ex Box with its Giant Bouquet attack. The choice comes down to which Pokémon you want on the promo cards.
