Amber and Emerald: Pongo and Peter Pan
The publisher describes Amber glimmers as purposeful and dedicated, which suits Pongo, who will not stop until the puppies are home. Emerald glimmers are flexible and quick-thinking, able to adapt and never caught off guard, and Peter Pan fits that perfectly. The deck shows how two inks complement each other in one list.
Into the Inklands and locations
Lorcana's third set introduced locations: cards that stay on the table, give you lore at the start of your turn when your characters are there, and have their own willpower, so your opponent can attack them. The set has 204 main cards and 18 Enchanted, and DuckTales, TaleSpin and Treasure Planet debut in it.
Who it is for
New players who want to start with a ready deck, and Infinity players (Into the Inklands is no longer legal in Core). For a two-player game, add the Ruby and Sapphire starter deck. When you want to upgrade, look at the Into the Inklands booster box.
Lorcana rules in three sentences
In Lorcana you are an Illumineer summoning Disney characters from magical ink. Each turn you may put one inkable card into your inkwell and spend the ink to play cards from your hand. Characters gain lore by questing, and the game ends when someone reaches 20 lore.
