Ruby and Sapphire
The publisher calls Ruby glimmers daring: warriors, explorers and daredevils who rely on speed and bravery. Sapphire is the ink of intellect: strategy, invention and a plan for every situation. The deck teaches when to challenge your opponent's characters and when to send your own questing for lore.
About Into the Inklands
Into the Inklands is the game's third set and the one that introduced locations. Moving a character to a location costs ink, and the location adds lore at the start of your turn. The set has 204 main cards and 18 Enchanted. DuckTales, TaleSpin and Treasure Planet characters joined Lorcana for the first time here.
Who it is for and what next
It works as a first deck to learn with and as a base for Infinity, where every set is legal (the set is not legal in Core). With the Amber and Emerald starter deck you can play a full two-player game, and new cards to upgrade come in Into the Inklands booster packs.
How Disney Lorcana plays
Lorcana is Ravensburger's trading card game with Disney characters. Cards with the inkwell symbol can go into your inkwell as ink, which you spend on characters, songs and items. You send characters questing for lore or challenge your opponent's characters, and the first to 20 lore wins.
