Rampart (Bastion) is an expansion for Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Board Game that adds the forest faction of AvLee, here in the Polish edition. The story opens with the mysterious deaths of elven lords: the Council of Elders sends Gelu, a Forest Guard of Erathia, and Gem, a sorceress from Enroth, to find out who is behind them. The elves of AvLee join as a fourth faction, so Rampart brings a fourth player to the table.

What Rampart changes
The key change is a fourth faction. The base game supports up to three players, and 2 vs 2 Alliance mode needs an expansion with another faction, so Rampart opens up team play. The publisher's description also promises war machines to upgrade your artillery and new places to explore in the thickets of AvLee.
Rampart and the other expansions
Rampart requires the base game. The same wave of faction expansions includes Fortress (Cytadela) and Inferno, and Rampart's unit miniatures also work on the board from the Battlefield expansion.
