Heroes of Might and Magic III: Pole bitwy

Battlefield (Pole bitwy) is an expansion for Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Board Game for players who love the fighting most, here in the Polish edition. Instead of the simplified combat board with unit cards you get a large hex board where you deploy your army's miniatures and use obstacles. It also adds two new duel modes for two players.

How combat changes

In the base game, combat uses a board where units are double-sided cards. Battlefield moves the fight onto a hex board: units are miniatures, their placement and path across the spaces matter, and obstacles let you lure an opponent into a trap or shield weaker troops. Both versions of combat use the same core rules, so you do not relearn the game.

Two modes: Adventure and Skirmish

• Adventure - Adventure cards replace the map tiles and take your heroes through classic Heroes III locations.
• Skirmish - a few extra rules and nothing but the fight, with no map exploration.

Both modes are 1 vs 1 duels and build on the base game rulebook.

Where to get unit miniatures

Battlefield is designed for miniatures. The base game includes only hero miniatures; unit miniatures for Castle, Dungeon and Necropolis come in the Stretch Goals - Faction Units set. Every faction expansion, such as Stronghold (Twierdza), includes 7 unit miniatures of its faction.
