- 1 of 30 Pikachu cards guaranteed in every pack
- a Mega Evolution series expansion, over 150 cards, Standard legal
- English (EN) edition
What's in a 30th Celebration booster pack
A pack contains 5 cards, all of them foil, plus a foil Basic Energy. There are no non-foil cards in 30th Celebration, so even the regular Pokémon and Trainer cards shine. One slot is always a Pikachu rare: the publisher made 30 versions of this card, each with a different illustration, and every pack gets one of them.
The 30th Celebration expansion
30th Celebration has over 150 cards and belongs to the Mega Evolution series, so its cards are legal in Standard decks. Mewtwo ex and Mew ex lead the set, alongside Umbreon ex, Salamence ex, Greninja ex and Sylveon ex. Ho-Oh, Lugia and Pikachu ex are in the set too.
There are three separate series to collect:
- 30 Pikachu cards with different illustrations, one in every pack;
- the Classic Collection, 30 iconic cards from the game's history in a new printing;
- over 20 new illustration rare and special illustration rare cards.
The rarest are two cards of the new Futuristic rare rarity: Mewtwo and Mew illustrated by the artist YOSHIROTTEN.
Who a single pack is for
A single pack is the simplest way to open the anniversary set and see which Pikachu you get. It works as an add-on to an order, a small gift for a Pokémon collector or one pack to open live. Collectors chasing the Pikachu series buy packs one at a time, because each one adds one card out of thirty.
Booster pack, 2-Pack or Booster Bundle
If you want more packs at once, see the 30th Celebration 2-Pack with two packs, a foil Eevee card and a coin, or the 30th Celebration Booster Bundle. The full kit with packs, sleeves and play accessories is the 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box. Every product from the expansion is in the 30th Celebration category.
