• ages 16+, about 90-150 minutes, Polish edition by Rebel

What's in the box

• 7 legendary monster miniatures and 7 large monster cards
• 20 legendary monster combat cards
• 12 legendary monster movement cards
• destruction tokens
• rulebook

How the legendary monster works

Before the game you choose or draw one monster. At the end of each round a movement card is revealed and the beast moves across the map towards the indicated city, leaving destruction tokens behind. You cannot use the action of the area it occupies.

Witchers collect destruction tokens from the areas the beast has passed through, and once they catch up with it, they can drive it away. Each token gives a bonus and also helps in the fight: a player with tokens strikes first and weakens the monster's deck. The monster hits harder than ordinary beasts and its large card describes four special attacks. Meanwhile the game goes on as usual: training, regular monsters, exploration.

Solo and combining with other expansions

In solo mode you choose a difficulty (easy, standard or hard), which sets how many movement cards the monster has. If the deck runs out while the beast is alive, you lose. Legendary Hunt combines with Mages, Skellige, Monster Trail and the Adventure Pack. Four more legendary monster cards for this expansion come in the box of Path of Destiny - Legendary Monsters.
