Gamegenic: Playmat Prime 2 mm, White
The white Gamegenic Prime playmat is the lightest version of the producer's rubber card game mat. It measures 610 x 350 mm, is 2 mm thick, has an anti-slip back and no artwork, so every card, die and token shows up clearly on it.
Who the white mat is for
A white background gives the strongest contrast with cards in black and dark sleeves, and on light tables it does not create a dark patch. Colour-wise it suits white Magic: The Gathering decks and the Heroism aspect in Star Wars: Unlimited, where white is the colour of the heroes. It also looks good in photos and gameplay videos, as the cards do not blend into the background.
How the mat is built
- natural rubber, 2 mm thick, soft under cards and for dice rolling
- ultra-fine surface that keeps cards away from dirt and table scratches
- anti-slip back
- imprinted Gamegenic logo in the corner, almost invisible depending on the light
- packaging: window cardboard box
Caring for a light mat
Dust and marks show sooner on a white mat, so roll it up and put it away after play. It fits a 385 mm Gamegenic playmat tube, such as the black one, when rolled along its 350 mm short side. Do not fold it, creases in rubber stay. Our card protection guide helps you pick matching sleeves and a deck box.
FAQ
Is a white mat too bright to play on?
It is a matter of taste: white gives the strongest contrast with dark sleeves. For a calmer background, the same mat comes in petrol.
How thick is the mat?
2 mm of natural rubber.
Can I use it on my desk?
Yes, the producer also recommends it as a desk mat at home.
Does the mat have any print?
No, only an imprinted logo in the top corner.
