Gamegenic: Playmat Tube, Black
The black Gamegenic playmat tube keeps a rolled-up mat from being crushed or creased in a backpack, on the way to a tournament and on a shelf. It is 75 mm across and 385 mm long, with a hexagonal profile and a flexible cap that seals tight.
- size: 75 mm diameter, 385 mm high
- material: PETG and silicone, acid-free and PVC-free
- hexagonal shape that does not roll off the table
- reinforced base that withstands heavy pressure
Which mats fit
The producer designed it for standard-sized playmats, but it also holds stitched and unstitched, extra-large or particularly thick mats. For example, the Gamegenic Prime playmat measures 610 x 350 mm, so rolled along its short side it fits completely. The same goes for the Disney Lorcana art playmats in our store.
Why a tube rather than a backpack
A mat thrown loose into a backpack will sooner or later get creased, and rubber remembers creases. The PETG tube is shock- and scratch-resistant, and the reinforced base handles heavy pressure. The flexible cap comes off without a struggle, yet the mat does not fall out even when shaken. Gamegenic also recommends the tube for posters and maps.
The black tube
The black version is the most discreet and goes with any mat, including the white Prime playmat. Our card protection guide explains how to look after the cards you play on it.
