Trauma Team is an expansion for Cyberpunk 2077: The Board Game (Polish edition) in which one player takes over Night City's famous private emergency service. Instead of one character, they control four armed medics and an AV, and the whole crew gets a new job: getting VIPs out alive from a building full of enemies.

What's in the box

  • 5 miniatures: 4 medics and the AV
  • 25 cards: Trauma Team deck and ID card, a quickhack, 9 Afterlife objective cards and 5 mission cards
  • 4 double-sided board tiles with landing pads
  • 4 VIP status monitors, the AV board and 3 bases
  • rulebook

How Trauma Team plays

The Trauma Team player has one deck and one shared health track, but moves four miniatures on the board. Symbols on their cards apply to each medic separately: all of them can move or lay down covering fire. When the team takes a wound, one medic leaves the board, and the mission is lost only when the last one falls.

AV actions (strike from above, stim delivery, reposition) can be triggered by any player, even on someone else's turn. Each VIP must first be stabilised on their status monitor and then carried to the AV before they bleed out. The board is two megabuilding floors connected only by the AV.

Where you play it

The expansion is activated in the app. Afterlife mode gains the standalone mission Stayin' Alive and the contract generator The Kids Aren't Alright. The new tiles can also be used in other Afterlife missions.

Who it's for

Groups who want missions with a different rhythm from the campaign: no data heists here, you rescue and evacuate people under fire. The Trauma Team role suits a player who likes watching the whole board, since they run four miniatures. The others use their characters to cover the medics and draw enemies away.
