What's in the Shimmering Skies booster box

Each of the 24 packs contains:

• 6 common cards
• 3 uncommon cards
• 2 rare, super rare or legendary cards
• 1 foil card of random rarity

Open every pack and you have 144 commons, 72 uncommons and 48 rare-or-better cards, plus 24 foils. Enchanted cards have no fixed slot.

Shimmering Skies: Wreck-It Ralph and Sugar Rush

Lorcana's fifth set has 204 main cards. The headline addition is Wreck-It Ralph and Litwak's Arcade: Vanellope von Schweetz - Sugar Rush Champ and the Sugar Rush racers, including Taffyta Muttonfudge, Rancis Fluggerbutter, Snowana Rainbeau and Turbo. Cards the publisher showcased also include Elsa - The Fifth Spirit, Kronk - Head of Security and Donald Duck - Pie Slinger.

The set's starter decks are Emerald and Steel and Amethyst and Ruby, and cards from the box are a natural upgrade for both.

What a full box is good for

Shimmering Skies has rotated out of Core, so the box is mostly for collectors completing the set and for Infinity players, where every set is legal. With a four-copy limit per card, 24 packs from one set are a quick route to playable copies without hunting singles. It also works well for opening with friends.

Box or starter deck

If you are new, start with a Shimmering Skies starter deck with a ready 60-card deck and playmat, then add the box when you want to upgrade. The set's other deck is Amethyst and Ruby with Elsa and Ralph.

Lorcana rules in three sentences

In Lorcana you are an Illumineer summoning Disney characters from magical ink. Each turn you may put one inkable card into your inkwell and spend the ink to play cards from your hand. Characters gain lore by questing, and the game ends when someone reaches 20 lore.
