Disney Lorcana: Shimmering Skies - playmat (Encanto - Look at This Family)
Shimmering Skies is the fifth Disney Lorcana set, released in August 2024. It has 204 cards in the main numbering, and its headline addition is characters from Wreck-It Ralph and Litwak's arcade: Vanellope von Schweetz - Sugar Rush Champ and the Sugar Rush racers, including Taffyta Muttonfudge and Turbo. Cards the publisher showed off also include Elsa - The Fifth Spirit, Kronk - Head of Security and Donald Duck - Pie Slinger.
From Shimmering Skies we have the 24-pack booster box, 288 cards with 24 foils, and two starter decks: Emerald and Steel with Scar and Kronk, and Amethyst and Ruby. Each has 60 cards, a booster pack, tokens and a paper playmat, so you need nothing else for a first game.
There are also accessories from the Shimmering Skies line: playmats with Belle and with Encanto, and card sleeves and deck boxes featuring Tiana and Aladdin. The box suits collectors completing the set, while the starter decks are the way in and work well for two players.
