Emerald and Steel: Scar and Kronk
The publisher describes Emerald glimmers as flexible and quick-thinking, able to adapt and never caught off guard. Steel is strength: large, armoured or just plain powerful characters. In this deck the cunning Scar teams up with good-natured strongman Kronk.
Shimmering Skies: Lorcana's fifth set
Shimmering Skies has 204 main cards. Wreck-It Ralph characters from Litwak's Arcade joined Lorcana in this set, including Vanellope von Schweetz - Sugar Rush Champ and the Sugar Rush racers. Cards the publisher showcased at launch also include Elsa - The Fifth Spirit and Donald Duck - Pie Slinger.
Who it is for
Beginners, because the paper playmat shows where cards go and the rulebook walks you through the first game. It also suits Infinity players, where every set is legal (Shimmering Skies is no longer in Core). For two players, add the Amethyst and Ruby starter deck, and find more cards in the Shimmering Skies booster box.
How Disney Lorcana plays
Lorcana is Ravensburger's trading card game with Disney characters. Cards with the inkwell symbol can go into your inkwell as ink, which you spend on characters, songs and items. You send characters questing for lore or challenge your opponent's characters, and the first to 20 lore wins.
