Sapphire and Steel
The publisher calls Sapphire the ink of intellect: strategists, inventors and those who always know or plan something. Steel is strength: powerful, armoured characters.
About Whispers in the Well
Lorcana's tenth set has 204 new cards, plus 18 frameless Epic cards, 18 Enchanted and 2 Iconic. The story centres on the Whispers: glimmers summoned from torn Lorebook pages that never fully formed.
The key new mechanic is Boost: once per turn you pay ink to slip the top card of your deck facedown under a character, which powers it up or switches on its abilities. The other new keyword, Alert, lets a character challenge as if it had Evasive. Gargoyles and The Black Cauldron debut, and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow brings the Headless Horseman and Katrina Van Tassel, among others.
Who it is for
New players who want to start with a complete deck, and tournament players: Whispers in the Well is in the current Core rotation, so the deck's cards are legal in Core and Infinity. Together with the Amber and Emerald starter deck it makes a set for two players.
How Disney Lorcana plays
Lorcana is Ravensburger's trading card game with Disney characters. Cards with the inkwell symbol can go into your inkwell as ink, which you spend on characters, songs and items. You send characters questing for lore or challenge your opponent's characters, and the first to 20 lore wins.

Detektywistyczna zagadka w Inkwell Caverns - Whispers, debiut Gargulców i nowa mechanika Boost.
Dziesiąty dodatek Disney Lorcany, utrzymany w klimacie detektywistycznej zagadki. W Inkwell Caverns krążą Whispers - nowy rodzaj glimmerów, nie do końca uformowanych, przywołanych z podartych stron Lorebooka. Debiutują postacie z serialu Gargulce i filmu Taran i magiczny kocioł, a obok nich pojawia się Bezgłowy Jeździec z Legendy o Sennej Kotlinie.
Nowa mechanika Boost pozwala raz na turę zapłacić atrament i położyć wierzchnią kartę talii zakrytą pod postacią. W secie są 204 karty w głównej numeracji, 18 Epic, 18 Enchanted i 2 Iconic.
