City Chaos lands show full-art action scenes from across the Marvel Universe. You get each of the five basic land types in both foil and non-foil.

Play Booster contents

Each of the 9 boosters holds 14 cards: 7 commons, 3 uncommons, 1 wildcard of any rarity, 1 rare or mythic rare, 1 traditional foil of any rarity, 1 land (dual or basic, sometimes foil) and a double-sided token or helper card. In 1 of every 24 Play Boosters a source material card replaces a common: a classic Magic reprint with art from Marvel comics. Boosters can also contain Booster Fun cards such as scene cards, logo cards and comic panel cards.

Marvel Super Heroes: heroes, villains and new mechanics

The set brings the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, Wakanda and their enemies into Magic. You'll find Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Panther, Hulk, Scarlet Witch, Daredevil, Human Torch, Loki, Kang the Conqueror and Doctor Doom, among others. Some heroes are double-faced cards with a civilian identity on one side (Tony Stark, King T'Challa) and the Super Hero on the other.

• Power-up - a once-only activated ability on heroes and villains. It adds +1/+1 counters and an extra effect, and costs less by the creature's mana cost if you use it the turn it entered.
• Teamwork - an optional additional cost on instants and sorceries: tap creatures with total power X or more for an upgraded or extra effect (HULK SMASH! gives you both modes).
• Plan - a new enchantment subtype that collects plan counters for specific actions, then is sacrificed for its big payoff.
• Connive returns, along with modal double-faced cards that can transform.

Two special artifacts stand out: Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor, which can only be equipped to a worthy legendary creature, and the next Infinity Stone, The Mind Stone.

What the Bundle is good for

9 boosters and 30 lands are a solid base for a deck from a single set: at least 9 rares or mythic rares, 9 foils and all the basic lands you need. Main set cards (code MSH) are legal in all formats, including Standard, while source material reprints (code MAR) are legal in Commander, Legacy and Vintage. The storage box then holds your deck.

Bundle, Gift Bundle or Beginner Box
