A Mane of Miracle starter deck is 70 cards ready to play: a 50-card main deck, a 15-card scene deck, a main character card and 4 story cards, a complete set for a game. The box also holds a cardboard playmat and a Mane of Miracle booster. The game is for two players aged 10 and up, so starting together takes two decks.
A single deck is a good first taste of the game or a gift. The 6-deck display suits a group starting out together, as well as collectors. The earlier starter line is Friendships Begin, with a separate deck for each of the six ponies.
