Star Wars Unlimited: Icons 2027 Edition - 4 Booster Pack

The Icons 2027 Edition 4 Booster Pack for Star Wars: Unlimited combines four Icons booster packs into one larger pack, 36 cards in total, plus an alternate-art Cassian Andor card that the publisher does not include in any other product. The packs come from Icons 2027, the game's first mini-set, built around the saga's best-known characters.

• 4 Icons 2027 Edition booster packs of 9 cards, English-language cards
• 1 alternate-art Cassian Andor unit card, exclusive to this product
• a rare or legendary and a Hyperspace foil in every pack
• legal in the game's main constructed format, reprints included

What's in the Icons 2027 4 Booster Pack

An Icons pack is smaller than a standard set pack: 9 cards instead of 16, with no guaranteed leader or base. According to the publisher, every pack holds:

• 3 commons
• 1 slot with a 25% chance of a leader and otherwise a fourth common
• 1 Hyperspace common
• 2 uncommons, each of which can upgrade to a Hyperspace uncommon, a rare or a legendary
• 1 rare or legendary
• 1 Hyperspace foil of any rarity

Four packs give you at least 4 rares or legendaries, 4 Hyperspace commons and 4 foils. On average one pack in four has a leader, but pack contents are random, so a single 4-pack may have none or two. The Cassian Andor card is always included, whatever the packs contain.

What you can pull in Icons packs

Icons 2027 has 194 cards and leans on characters every Star Wars fan knows. Every rare and legendary in the set is a new unique unit featuring a fan-favourite character. From the publisher's preview:

• Anakin Skywalker (legendary) - when defeated he searches your deck for a Darth Vader unit, and while he is in your discard pile your Vader cards ignore aspect penalties
• Darth Sidious - damages enemy units each time you heal your base
• Millennium Falcon - lets you replay a friendly unit for a single resource
• The Inquisitor's TIE - punishes an opponent who holds too many cards
• Lando Calrissian, Grand Admiral Thrawn and Jar Jar Binks among the other rares

New uncommons include Moff Gideon, Qui-Gon Jinn, Red Leader, Commander Pyre and Eighth Brother, while Grogu and Savage Opress return as reprints, some with new art. The set also has eight new leaders, including Darth Vader and Princess Leia.

Who the Cassian Andor 4-pack is for

The 4-pack lets you get to know the set without opening a whole box. It works well if:

• you already have the Icons Starter Box and want new cards for the Vader or Leia deck,
• you play competitively and want new rares: the publisher designed Icons cards with power comparable to a standard set,
• you collect variants and want the Cassian Andor card, which you cannot pull from any pack.

Icons packs are not designed for draft or sealed, since they hold only 9 cards and not always a leader or base. This is a product for collecting and deckbuilding.

4-pack, display or Starter Box

If you are just starting out, begin with the Icons 2027 Starter Box: two decks, playmats and a four-game introduction to the rules. To collect the set or get more rares and legendaries at once, go for the 24-pack Icons display. The 4-pack sits in between: a few packs plus a promo card that no other product in the set has.
