Wiedźmin: Ścieżka Przeznaczenia - Edycja deluxe

The Witcher: Path of Destiny Deluxe Edition (Wiedźmin: Ścieżka Przeznaczenia - Edycja deluxe) is the complete card game in the Polish edition by Rebel, with everything from the standard version plus upgraded components. Geralt, Ciri, Yennefer, Jaskier and Vesemir get miniatures, the player boards are dual-layer and the story decks come in their own boxes.

• 1-5 players (with a solo mode), ages 16+, about 45-90 minutes
• 10 miniatures with bases: 5 character miniatures and 5 scoring miniatures
• designer: Łukasz Woźniak, art: Agata Skowronek, publishers: Go On Board and Rebel
• Polish-language cards and rulebook

What's in the deluxe edition

• 5 character miniatures and 5 scoring miniatures
• dual-layer character boards and boxes for the story cards
• play mat and 5 character markers
• 5 Automa character boards for the solo mode
• 169 cards and 69 story cards (three stories of 23 cards)
• 30 wooden markers and 227 tokens

Deluxe or standard

Rules and cards are identical and the rulebook is shared. Deluxe changes looks and comfort: the heroes get miniatures, the boards are thicker dual-layer ones, and the boxes keep the three story decks in order. If you only care about the gameplay, the standard edition is the same game.

Three stories in the box

• The Striga - King Foltest's cursed daughter in the castle of Wyzima.
• The Edge of the World - a village plagued by a sylvan, recommended for your first game.
• The Lesser Evil - the feud between Renfri and Stregobor.

Each story has its own deck, special rules and several endings, and its own version of the Automa for solo play.

About the game: change a familiar story

Over three chapters players draft cards and play two at a time onto their timeline, collecting symbols. The dominant symbol in a chapter awards victory points and picks the story's next path; the other active symbol gives experience for character abilities. Whoever shapes the ending most wins. A game usually fits in an hour, and it works with two thanks to an extra symbol-counting rule.

Expansions

Expansions work with both editions. Triss & A Grain of Truth includes a Triss miniature and scoring miniature that match the deluxe, while Wild Hunt and Legendary Monsters add more miniatures.
