The Itachi & Kisame Starter Pack is a Naruto Mythos TCG starter set from the Konoha Shidō 2nd Edition line, built around two members of the Akatsuki. The box holds 4 Konoha Shidō booster packs, two exclusive holo cards of Itachi and Kisame, a maxi-size Itachi card, a full token set and the rulebook - everything you need for a first game except an opponent.

What is inside the Itachi & Kisame Starter Pack

The highlight is the two cards you will not find in booster packs. They are Mythos cards: a special category outside the main collection, with their own artwork, holo finish and micro-engraving. The publisher only hands them out in special products such as Starter Packs and Team Sets, and at events and tournaments. The maxi card repeats the Itachi artwork in a large format, for your collection or for display.

On top of that come 4 booster packs, each with a Mission card, a holo card and a Rare or better, so 40 Konoha Shidō cards to start with.

Tokens and rulebook: start without extra purchases

Naruto Mythos tracks Chakra per round, mission points and extra character Power. The set includes tokens for all three. The rulebook walks you through a turn step by step: drawing a 5-card opening hand, Chakra each round, sending characters to missions and comparing Power at the end of the round.

Itachi and Kisame in Konoha Shidō

Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki are members of the Akatsuki, and the cards in this set refer to their hunt for Naruto. Itachi also has regular Konoha Shidō cards you can pull from boosters, such as "Tsukuyomi". The rest of the booster cards are Hidden Leaf characters: Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Tsunade, Jiraiya and more.

The Starter Pack is your way into the game, with a rulebook and tokens. Once you know the rules and want to grow your deck, the next step is Konoha Shidō 2nd Edition booster packs or a full 2nd Edition booster box with 24 packs.

FAQ

Is this a ready-to-play deck?
No. You get 40 random cards from 4 packs plus 2 Mythos cards, and a Naruto Mythos deck needs at least 30 cards, which you build yourself.

Are the Itachi and Kisame cards from this set found in boosters?
No. Mythos cards do not appear in booster packs - the publisher releases them in special products such as this Starter Pack, and at events.

How is it different from the 1st Edition Starter Pack?
The 1st Edition starter has Naruto and Sasuke cards from Team 7. The 2nd Edition one has Itachi and Kisame of the Akatsuki.

What language are the cards and rulebook in?
