The variant slot can hold a holo version of a common or uncommon, a micro-engraved Rare ART, or a Special, Shinobi, POP, Secret or Legendary card. The publisher does not give pull rates.

What you can pull in Shinobi Shiren

The set follows the Chūnin Exams, the invasion of Konoha and the pursuit of Sasuke. It has 140 cards in the main numbering plus 10 Secrets, including the legendary Sannin Tsunade, Jiraiya and Orochimaru alongside their summons Katsuyu, Gamabunta and Manda.

• Attachments - a new common and uncommon card type you equip to a Character or Mission to boost its effect.
• Shinobi - 10 cards in pairs; each pair rebuilds a duel scene from the Chūnin Exams.
• POP - 4 lenticular cards, 300 serialized copies each.
• Legendary Gold - Gaara, Jiraiya and Tsunade in 22-karat gold foil, 1,500 serialized copies each.

When a single pack is enough

A pack is the simplest way to see the new Attachments and Missions without buying a whole box. It also works for topping up a Konoha Shidō deck or for opening a few packs with a friend.

One pack will not build a deck: a Naruto Mythos deck needs at least 30 cards, and each player also brings 3 Missions to a game.

Booster pack or booster box

A few packs let you get to know the set. To build a deck or collect the Rares that join into shared artwork in a binder, get the Shinobi Shiren booster box: 24 packs plus a Chibi card you will not find in packs.
