StarCraft: Marauder - Terran - Expansion Set

The Marauder - Terran - Expansion Set is an add-on for StarCraft: Tabletop Miniatures Game by Archon Studio. You get 4 Marauders, the Terran heavy infantry that cracks armour and slows the enemy down, plus the cards to field them.

• 4 Marauder miniatures to assemble
• 4 50mm bases
• 3 game cards
• faction: Terran, English edition

What's in the box

• 4 Marauder miniatures
• 4 plastic 50mm bases
• 3 cards
• assembly manual

The models are HIPS plastic on sprues, unassembled and unpainted. Glue them together and they're ready to play; painting is up to you.

Heavy support for your infantry

Marauders carry Quad K12 grenade launchers that punch through Zerg and Protoss armour alike. Their concussive shells slow targets down, so a rush of Zerglings or Zealots reaches your line later than your opponent planned. That's why they usually fight next to Marine squads: Marines handle swarms of light units, Marauders deal with the heavily armoured ones.

For scale: the publisher compares a Siege Tank's firepower in Tank Mode to three Marauders. Four models from this box are a serious force on any table.

What to play them with

The Terran Starter Set has 4 Marauders, so this box gives you a second full squad. The Raven's anti-armour missiles soften targets for exactly this kind of follow-up from Marauders and Marines. The models also fit Nova's army: the Nova Terra Expansion Set includes a Marauder Commando unit card, which needs Marauder miniatures.

About the game

StarCraft: Tabletop Miniatures Game is the officially licensed wargame set in the Koprulu Sector. Players alternate activating units, and reinforcements arrive from reserves as Supply allows, which captures the pace of a real-time strategy game.

Frequently asked questions

How many miniatures are in the Marauder set?
Four, each on a 50mm base.

Is this box enough to play?
Not on its own. It expands a Terran army and has no rules or dice. The rules are free on the publisher's website, and a starter gives you the core army.

Are the miniatures painted?
No. They come unassembled and unpainted, on sprues.

How much space and time does a game take?
The small format plays on a 36" x 36" table in about an hour, the standard one on 54" x 36" in about two hours, once both players know the rules.

What language are the cards?
English, this is the English edition.
