The first ship over the battlefield

The Raven is the first airborne unit in StarCraft: Tabletop Miniatures Game. The publisher designed a high-clearance flight stand for it, so ground units can move underneath without knocking anything over.

The Raven doesn't win by trading shots on the front line, but by controlling the battlefield:

• Advanced Sensor Array - strips concealment from enemies in range, revealing cloaked operatives and burrowed Zerg.
• Auto-Turret - a deployable turret that locks down firing lanes with Overwatch reaction fire.
• Anti-Armour Missiles - degrade heavy targets' armour for follow-up fire from Siege Tanks, Marines and Marauders.
• Seeker Missiles - a pinpoint strike that breaks fortified positions and forces enemies to scatter.

The sculpt has visible autocannons, so the publisher also gave the Raven a weapon profile to defend itself.

Which army it suits

Any Terran army benefits from a Raven, especially one facing Zerg that burrow. It works well with heavy hitters: the Siege Tank and Marauders. For your core army, start with the Terran Starter Set.
