StarCraft: Nova Terra - Terran - Expansion Set

The Nova Terra - Terran - Expansion Set is an add-on for StarCraft: Tabletop Miniatures Game featuring the deadliest Ghost operative the Dominion has ever produced. The box gives you the hero in two loadouts, her gear as miniatures and 8 cards, including a new unit and a mission.

• Nova Terra, Sabotage Drone and Holo Decoy miniatures
• 8 cards, including two hero profiles
• faction: Terran, English edition

What's in the Nova Terra box

• miniatures: Nova Terra, Sabotage Drone, Holo Decoy
• plastic 32mm and 40mm bases
• unit cards: Nova Stealth Mode, Nova Assault Mode, Sabotage Drone, Holo Decoy, Marauder Commando (Marauder)
• Mission card Fire in the Sky, Deployment card One Bridge to Close, Tactical card Nova Covert Ops
• assembly manual

The models are HIPS plastic, unassembled and unpainted.

Two Novas in one box

Instead of one all-purpose card, Nova has two separate hero profiles. Pick the one that suits the battle:

• Stealth Mode - a sniper with the C-20A Canister Rifle. She cloaks after every action (Active Camouflage), executes high-value targets with her Head Shot reaction, and taking out priority enemies returns used tactical cards to your hand.
• Assault Mode - the close-quarters build: Hellfire Shotgun, Monomolecular Blade and Phase-Reactor Blink to jump across terrain straight to her target.

Both use the Holo Decoy: the projection lets Nova reposition instantly and exposes enemies to attacks from her allies.

What to pair her with

The Marauder Commando card uses Marauder miniatures, so the Marauder Expansion Set is a natural companion. The same Covert Ops wave brought the Raven, which detects cloaked and burrowed enemies. For your core army, start with the Terran Starter Set.

Frequently asked questions

How many miniatures are in the set?
Three according to the publisher: Nova Terra, the Sabotage Drone and the Holo Decoy.

Can I field both versions of Nova?
They are two separate profiles of the same hero. The publisher presents them as two loadouts you pick to suit the battle.

Do I need a starter set?
Nova is a hero, not a full army. You need Terran units and the rules, which the publisher offers free on the game's website.

How much space and time does a game take?
The small format plays on a 36" x 36" table in about an hour, the standard one on 54" x 36" in about two hours, once both players know the rules.

What language are the cards?
English.
