StarCraft: Siege Tank - Terran - Expansion Set

The Siege Tank - Terran - Expansion Set is an add-on for StarCraft: Tabletop Miniatures Game with the Crucio siege tank, one of the most iconic Terran units. It is the game's first large vehicle: the model stands on a 150mm base and serves either as an armoured frontline tank or as long-range artillery.

• Siege Tank miniature to assemble
• 150mm base
• Blast Template and Siege Mode token
• faction: Terran, English edition

What's in the Siege Tank box

• 1 Siege Tank miniature
• 1 Blast Template
• 1 Siege Mode Token
• 1 plastic 150mm base
• 2 cards
• assembly manual

The model is HIPS plastic, unassembled and unpainted. According to the publisher it can be assembled in two ways, in Tank Mode or Siege Mode. It is a static model and doesn't transform with moving parts.

Tank Mode and Siege Mode

In Tank Mode the Siege Tank advances with your infantry, with firepower equal to three Marauders. It really shines once it deploys into Siege Mode: the Shock Cannon reaches 18", one of the longest ranges in the game, and the Blast Template hits the main target and the models around it.

Then there's the spotter. In the Movement Phase you nominate a friendly unit, and in the Assault Phase the tank can fire at any enemy within 8" of it and visible to it. During army building you can also buy single-use special ammunition.

Where to place your tank

The Siege Tank costs plenty of Minerals and Supply, so it is at its best in larger games, screened by Marines and Goliaths. In the publisher's playtests even two or three tanks in one army worked. The best firing spot is high ground from the Lost Temple Ramp terrain set, and the Terran Starter Set gives you infantry to start with.
