StarCraft: Zergling - Zerg - Expansion Set

The Zergling - Zerg - Expansion Set is an add-on for StarCraft: Tabletop Miniatures Game with 18 Zerglings, the Swarm's fast, numerous infantry. Besides the basic card you get cards for two evolution variants, the Raptor and the Swarmling, so the same miniatures can be fielded three ways.

The miniatures are HIPS plastic on sprues, unassembled and unpainted. Glue them together and they're ready to play.

Zerglings: the backbone of the Swarm

Zerglings are the Swarm's fast and deadly answer to anything that threatens the Hive. One dies easily, but en masse they lock enemies in close combat and don't let them escape. The publisher shows it in an example: a Zergling unit arrives with Burrow Ambush, catches a Marine squad and pins it in place until Ravager bile lands.

With the Raptor and Swarmling cards you choose which strain to field, without buying different models.

What Zerglings play with

They gain the most from support. The Defiler covers them with Dark Swarm, which gives size-one units an extra bonus to evade rolls. Zagara rewards numbers: with her faction card a unit that outnumbers its enemy gets better close combat attacks, and her box also has a Vilelings card for Zerglings. The Zerg Starter Set also has 18 Zerglings, so this box doubles that part of your army.

StarCraft: Tabletop Miniatures Game by Archon Studio is the officially licensed wargame in Blizzard's universe. Players alternate activating units, and units arrive from reserves as Supply allows.
