Cyberpunk TCG: Welcome to Night City - Booster Box (24 packs)

The Welcome to Night City booster box for Cyberpunk TCG holds 24 booster packs of 12 cards, 288 cards in total from the game's first set. It is the core box of WeirdCo's retail edition, with alt-art Iconic Rares you will not find in the Beta version.

• 24 booster packs of 12 cards, 288 English-language cards in total
• rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic Rare, Secret Rare and Iconic Rare
• alt-art Iconic Rares exclusive to the retail edition

What is in the Welcome to Night City booster box

• 24 sealed Welcome to Night City booster packs
• 12 random cards in every pack
• 288 cards in total for decks, collection and trading

The box contains packs only, no dice and no Pre-release Kit Legends. Secret Rares and Iconic Rares are not guaranteed in a box.

Secret Rare and Iconic Rare cards

WeirdCo marks its top rarities with raised PVT texture (Precision Vectorized Texturing), mapped by hand to each card's art, and Iconic cards get their names in silver cold foil. Iconic Rares usually carry more texture to match their bigger artwork. Examples shown by the publisher include the Iconic Rare Adam Smasher: Metal Over Meat and the Secret Rare July Álvarez: Nothing to Doubt.

What a full box is good for

The official Welcome to Night City Pre-release Kit is 6 retail packs per player, plus 3 extra Legends, a promo card and a set of dice. So 24 packs give pools for four players in that sealed format, if you provide Legends and dice separately. For constructed decks, a box gives you a wide slice of the set in one purchase, with spares for trading.

It is also the box for collectors who want to open the retail edition in full and chase its alt-arts.

Retail or Beta

The set is the same; the edition differs. The Beta booster box comes from the Kickstarter campaign: 36 packs instead of 24, the Beta symbol and its own art variants. The retail edition has a smaller box and its own alt-art Iconic Rares. WeirdCo has said it will not reprint either configuration. To just try the set, single Welcome to Night City booster packs are enough.

How Cyberpunk TCG plays

Two players, each with 3 Legends and a 40-50 card deck. Once per turn you sell a card from hand for Eddies, which pay for Units, Programs and Gear, and every turn you roll another Gig die, from d4 up to d20. Whoever starts their turn with 7 Gigs wins. A starter deck gives you a ready deck and the full set of six dice.
