Rise of the Floodborn
Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn - starter deck A (Amber/Sapphire)
Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn - starter deck B (Amethyst/Steel)
Rise of the Floodborn is the second Disney Lorcana set, released at the end of 2023. In its story an explosion at the Great Illuminary sets off a flood of magical ink that turns familiar characters into stronger versions called Floodborn. They are usually played with Shift: you put the card on top of your character with the same name and pay a lower cost. The set also added the Resist keyword, which reduces damage dealt to a character.
The set has 204 cards in the main numbering plus 12 Enchanted cards. Characters from Pinocchio, The Jungle Book and The Great Mouse Detective made their Lorcana debut here.
From Rise of the Floodborn we have two starter decks: Amber and Sapphire, and Amethyst and Steel. Each is 60 ready-made cards with two foils and an extra booster pack, and the pair gives you everything for a two-player game. There are also Mulan card sleeves and a Winnie the Pooh playmat.
