Reign of Jafar
Reign of Jafar is the eighth Disney Lorcana set, released in June 2025. In its story Jafar reforges the Hexwell Crown and declares himself the supreme sorcerer of Lorcana. The publisher announced more than 200 cards, the return of dual-ink cards and Illusions: characters with the Vanish keyword, which disappear when an opponent chooses them with an action.
From Reign of Jafar we have two starter decks, Ruby and Steel, and Amber and Amethyst, each with 60 ready-made cards, two foils and an extra booster pack. If you would rather play together, there is Illumineer's Quest: Palace Heist, a co-operative adventure for 1-2 players against Jafar's deck, with two ready 60-card decks and four battlegrounds that set the difficulty.
Accessories from the set's line include playmats with the Rescue Rangers (Rescue Rangers Away!) and with Hades, and card sleeves and deck boxes featuring Mickey Mouse and Tinker Bell, the latter with Enchanted card art.
