StarCraft: Marine - Terran - Expansion Set

• 3 game cards
• faction: Terran
• English edition

What's in the Marine Expansion Set

• 9 Marine miniatures
• 9 plastic 32mm bases
• 3 cards
• assembly manual

The miniatures are made of durable high impact polystyrene (HIPS) and come on sprues, unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paint are not included. You don't have to paint them to play.

Marines in a Terran army

Marines are the core of most Terran armies: infantry in CMC powered armour carrying C-14 rifles, which have a 12" range in the game. One trooper is no threat, but a large squad shreds enemy infantry and holds objectives.

Marines also work as the eyes of your army. A Siege Tank can nominate them as its spotter and shell targets near them, and Jim Raynor's Orders ability lets a Marine unit activate a second time in a phase.

What to pair Marines with

The classic Terran mix is Marines, Marauders and Medics, backed by a Goliath. That is exactly the StarCraft: Terran - Starter Set, a 1000-mineral army with 9 Marines inside. This expansion is one more squad of the same size, so it doubles your infantry after the starter. For healing, add the Medic Expansion Set.

StarCraft: Tabletop Miniatures Game at a glance

Players activate one unit at a time, and units don't start on the table: they arrive from reserves as your Supply pool grows. You buy units with Minerals and tactical cards with Vespene Gas. A small-table game on a 36" x 36" board takes about an hour.
