StarCraft: Medic - Terran - Expansion Set

The Medic - Terran - Expansion Set is an add-on for StarCraft: Tabletop Miniatures Game by Archon Studio with three Medics, the Terran support unit. They are what keeps Marine and Marauder squads standing under fire instead of melting after the first exchange.

• 3 Medic miniatures to assemble
• 3 32mm bases
• 2 game cards
• faction: Terran, English edition

What's in the Medic box

• 3 Medic miniatures
• 3 plastic 32mm bases
• 2 cards
• assembly manual

The miniatures are HIPS plastic on sprues, unassembled and unpainted. Glue them together and they're ready for the table.

The Medic's role

Medics wear armour similar to the CMC series, but instead of heavy weapons they carry trauma gear and injectable medical nanobots. Enemies tend to target them first, which is why the models carry a shield and why Medics stay close to their escort.

In play you bring them in where your infantry has to hold its ground. The publisher's own example: Marines threatened by Ravager bile can either run or hold, and the Terran player chooses to hold and moves Medics up to them.

When to add more Medics

The classic Terran army is Marines, Marauders and Medics. Three Medics already come in the Terran Starter Set, so this box helps when you grow your infantry, for example with a second squad from the Marine Expansion Set, and want support for both groups.

StarCraft: Tabletop Miniatures Game

The officially licensed StarCraft wargame. You build your army with Minerals, units enter from reserves as your Supply pool grows, and players alternate activating units.

Frequently asked questions

How many Medics are in the set?
Three, each with a 32mm base.

Do Medics fight on their own?
They aren't a frontline unit. They support infantry and work best next to Marine and Marauder squads.

Do I need a starter set?
The expansion has no rules or dice, only miniatures and cards. The rules are free from the publisher, and the Terran starter gives you a ready core army.

Are the miniatures ready to play?
They need gluing from sprues. Painting is optional.

How much space and time does a game take?
The small format plays on a 36" x 36" table in about an hour, the standard one on 54" x 36" in about two hours, once both players know the rules.
