Naruto Mythos: Konoha Shidō - Booster Pack (1st Edition)

The Konoha Shidō 1st Edition booster is a single 10-card pack from the first Naruto Mythos TCG set, from its first print run. Every pack holds a Mission card, a holo card and one Rare-or-better card, and the Naruto Uzumaki Gold card, found only in this edition, is also in the pool.

What is in a Konoha Shidō booster pack

• 1 Mission card - one of the set's 10 missions you need to play
• 4 Common cards
• 3 Uncommon cards
• 1 holo card: a holographic Common or Uncommon, or a micro-engraved Rare ART
• 1 Rare, Secret or Legendary card

The cards are in English.

What you can pull

The last slot in the pack is usually a holographic Rare, but it can also be a Secret (10 cards numbered 131-140, with a gold finish) or a Legendary. In the 1st Edition the Legendary card is Naruto Uzumaki "I'll be the greatest Hokage", made with real 22K gold, 2,000 numbered copies in English. The publisher states it turns up about once per 800 packs.

Characters in the set include Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, Kakashi Hatake, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Orochimaru, Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki.

Why the 1st Edition

The first print run differs from the second in collectible elements, not in the rules: one Gold card (Naruto), its own numbered Secret Variants and its own packaging, and the cards carry no "2nd Edition" stamp. Collectors completing the set from a single print run go for this version.

Single pack or a full box

A single pack is a good way to see the cards, try your luck or pick up a missing mission. To build a deck (30 cards minimum) you need more cards, and the Konoha Shidō 1st Edition booster box with 24 packs does that job better. The same set from the second print run is the 2nd Edition booster.

How Naruto Mythos TCG plays

It is a two-player card game from the publisher Cicaboom. A game lasts 4 rounds, and each round a new mission ranked D to A joins the table. At the start of a round you draw 2 cards and get Chakra to send your ninja to missions. The player with more total Power on a mission wins it, and after the fourth round the mission points decide the game.
