Add these to your order
The Konoha Shidō 1st Edition booster box holds 24 sealed booster packs of 10 cards, 240 cards in total from the first set of Naruto Mythos TCG. This is the set's first print run, with no "2nd Edition" stamp on the cards, its own packaging and a Legendary Gold card that the second edition does not have.
- 24 booster packs of 10 cards, 240 English-language cards in total
- every pack has a Mission card, a holo card and a Rare, Secret or Legendary card
- 24 Mission cards and 24 holo cards across the box
- 1st Edition print with the Naruto Uzumaki Gold card in the pool
What is inside the Konoha Shidō 1st Edition booster box
Each of the 24 packs follows the same 10-card layout:
- 1 Mission card
- 4 Common cards
- 3 Uncommon cards
- 1 holo card: a holographic Common or Uncommon, or a Rare ART
- 1 Rare, Secret or Legendary card
That makes 240 cards per box, including 24 Mission cards, 24 holo cards and 24 top-slot cards (Rare or better).
Konoha Shidō cards and rarities
The main collection has 130 numbered cards: 55 Common, 48 Uncommon and 27 Rare. On top of that come 27 Rare ART cards (micro-engraved versions of the Rares, marked with an "A" next to the number), 10 Secret cards numbered 131-140, 10 Mission cards and a Legendary card in 22K gold foil. The Rares are holographic and, placed side by side, form 9 larger illustrations, which makes them a binder favourite.
The set takes place in the Hidden Leaf Village. Characters include Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno and Kakashi Hatake of Team 7, Shikamaru Nara, Hinata Hyuga, Shino Aburame and Rock Lee, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Orochimaru and Kabuto Yakushi, and Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki of the Akatsuki.
What makes the 1st Edition different
According to the publisher, both Konoha Shidō editions share the same lore and the same game system. They differ in collectible elements:
- Gold card - the 1st Edition has one: Naruto Uzumaki "I'll be the greatest Hokage", made with real 22K gold and individually numbered, 2,000 copies in English. The publisher states a pull rate of about one per 800 booster packs.
- numbered Secret Variants - 4 Secret cards in a Variant version with artwork exclusive to this edition
- packaging - the packs and the box have their own design, different from the 2nd Edition, and the cards carry no "2nd Edition" stamp
What a full box is good for
A Naruto Mythos deck has at least 30 cards, with no more than two copies of any card number. A box gives you material for several decks and a choice of missions: in competitive play each player brings 3 different Mission cards, and the set has 10 of them.
The 1st Edition box is also the pick for collectors who want the set from its first print run and a shot at this edition's Gold card.
Booster pack, 1st or 2nd Edition box
To try the set, single Konoha Shidō 1st Edition booster packs are enough. If you care about playing rather than the print run, the same set in its second print run is the 2nd Edition booster box. For a start with a rulebook and tokens there is the Itachi & Kisame Starter Pack.
