Naruto Mythos: Konoha Shidō - Booster Box (2nd Edition)

The Konoha Shidō 2nd Edition booster box is the second print run of the first Naruto Mythos TCG set: 24 booster packs of 10 cards, 240 English-language cards in total. The lore and the game system match the first print, but this edition has its own Gold cards, new numbered Secret Variants and a "2nd Edition" stamp on the cards.

Konoha Shidō 2nd Edition booster box contents

The pack layout is fixed, so it is easy to work out what a full box gives you:

• 1 Mission card
• 4 Common and 3 Uncommon cards
• 1 holo card (a holo Common or Uncommon, or a Rare ART)
• 1 Rare, Secret or Legendary card

Box total: 240 cards, including 24 Mission cards, 24 holo cards and 24 Rare-or-better cards.

What is new in the 2nd Edition

The second print run is not a plain reprint. The publisher changed its collectible elements:

• two Gold cards instead of one - Rock Lee (2,000 numbered copies in English) and Sasuke Uchiha (1,500 copies). Both made with real 22K gold, micro-engraved and individually numbered.
• new numbered Secret Variants - 4 Secret cards in a Variant version with new artwork, different from the 1st Edition
• "2nd Edition" stamp on the cards and new packaging for the packs and the box

The same product line also includes the Itachi & Kisame Starter Pack and four Team Sets built around Team 7.

Who you will meet in Konoha Shidō

The set has 130 numbered cards in the main collection (55 Common, 48 Uncommon, 27 Rare), 27 micro-engraved Rare ART cards, 10 Secret cards and 10 Mission cards. It is set in the Hidden Leaf Village, with characters such as Naruto Uzumaki with his Rasengan, Sasuke Uchiha with Chidori, Sakura Haruno, Kakashi Hatake, Shikamaru Nara, Hinata Hyuga, Rock Lee, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Orochimaru, Kabuto Yakushi, and Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki.

Who the 2nd Edition box is for

For players who want to build a deck from a single box. A deck has at least 30 cards, no more than two copies of any card number, and the box gives you 240 cards to choose from plus 24 Mission cards to put together your own set of three tournament missions.

For collectors it is the only way to the Rock Lee and Sasuke Gold cards and the new Secret Variants, as none of them appear in the first print run.

2nd or 1st Edition

If you are after the Naruto Uzumaki Gold card and the first print run, go for the 1st Edition booster box. Single 2nd Edition booster packs let you try the set before buying a whole box.

How Naruto Mythos plays

Naruto Mythos TCG is a two-player card game from the Italian publisher Cicaboom. A match always lasts 4 rounds, and each round another Mission card comes into play, ranked D up to A. You spend Chakra to send characters to missions, and the player with more Power on a mission scores it.
