StarCraft: Lost Temple - Terrain - Expansion Set
StarCraft: Lost Temple - Terrain - Expansion Set is a terrain set for StarCraft: Tabletop Miniatures Game that brings Lost Temple, one of StarCraft's most iconic maps, to your table. The box holds 15 plastic terrain pieces and a cloth playmat, a ready battlefield for two armies.
What's in the Lost Temple set
- 15 plastic terrain pieces: walls and scatter terrain
- cloth playmat 54 x 36 in (137 x 91 cm)
- assembly manual
The pieces come unpainted and need assembly. 32 mm scale, the same as the game's miniatures.
Terrain that changes the battle
In StarCraft TMG terrain is not decoration. Line of sight is checked top-down, and walls either block it or give cover to units standing right next to them. Every piece has a height that decides who can see over it and who can shoot. The set has enough walls and scatter terrain for a full 1000-mineral battle: places to hide infantry from fire and lanes to charge through.
The mat is sized for the Standard scale table (36 x 54 in, armies up to 2000 minerals), so it serves bigger battles too.
What to combine it with
Lost Temple is all about high ground and the paths between levels. The ramp that connects different elevations comes in the separate Lost Temple Ramp set. If you own the Two Player Starter Set - Founders Edition, this set gives you a second table or more terrain on one. For the regular single-faction starters, which have no mat or terrain, it is the simplest way to a complete battlefield.
